Rooms were well furnished and cozy. Location in town was nice and walkable. check in was easy and the door code system instead of a key card was great.
We were looking for a place to stay that wasn't too far from the Gorge Amphitheater, but also affordable. I stumbled upon this place and what a great find! This is a small Inn in Royal City. It was about 35 mins to the Gorge, the rooms were very comfortable - mini kitchen, fridge and the bed was comfortable. We stayed two nights and enjoyed our stay. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. The bonus is the restaurant downstairs - friendly, competent service and the food was very good. Three separate parties in our group and all said they enjoyed their stay and would stay again. Excellent location for concerts not to far for a bit of sightseeing - we drove to Palouse Falls the first day.
My stay at this hotel was mostly positive. The room was clean and nicely arranged, with comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and tried their best to assist with any issues. However, during peak hours, the service at the reception and restaurant was a bit slower than expected. Despite this, the hotel’s atmosphere was pleasant, and the location was convenient for getting around the city. The breakfast was good, though adding a few more choices would make it even better. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and with a few improvements, this hotel could become an excellent choice.
We had an amazing time staying at the public house. It was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway! The room was perfect. It was updated, modern but still warm. Then just a few steps downstairs was one of the best restaurants we have ever been to! What an unexpected surprise! We will definitely be back!
We waited an hour to access the room because we never received the door code. We did enjoy dinner and the restaurant helped us access the room because the code we eventually received didn’t work. The room was clean and comfortable.
Clean, comfortable stay with all you need. Great for visiting our family in the area given that hotels are scarce and those in the near by areas are less than ideal.
We loved our stay here during the Sandhill Crane Festival. The apartment was lovely and stocked with everything we needed. Having the amazing restaurant right below us was so convenient and yummy. And, the apartment was only one block from the grocery store and ATM.
We had an amazing two-night stay in Royal City while visiting Gard Winery. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and spotless, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our tour and tasting with Lisa, the owner of Gard Winery, were truly special — she was warm, knowledgeable, and so passionate about her wines. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Gard Winery and a stay in Royal City for anyone who loves great wine and genuine hospitality!
